TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS UNDERTAKING A PROGRAM PLACEMENT WITH DREAM GHANA FOUNDATION.

This lists the supports and services that will be provided before and during any placement organized with Dream Ghana Foundation. You need to read and agree on this terms and conditions before you could undertake a placement with us. Participants of Dream Ghana Foundation pay a program fee upon acceptance into their chosen program in exchange for supports and services we provide.

 

REQUIREMENTS TO BE DREAM GHANA PARTICIPANT

Must be 17 years and over.

 

Have fully read Dream Ghana’s Terms, Conditions, Disclaimer and Privacy policy.

 

Persons under 17 can volunteer/intern under the permission of their Guardians.

 

Filling and sending to Dream Ghana the Online Application Form as well as send us your current CV (resume) and photograph

 

Have sent us information on your travel arrangements (flight number, airline, arrival and departure time and dates). You are required to have full medical and travel insurance, you are also required to provide us a copies of this certificates for our review.

 

SUPPORTS AND SERVICES DREAM GHANA FOUNDATION PROVIDE

 

IN - COUNTRY GUIDE AND SUPPORT:  

 

Your well being while volunteering with us is our priority we make sure your trip is safe and our in-country coordinator will provide whatever support you may need at any step along the way and making necessary contacts on your behalf, including an in-depth volunteer handbook and in-country informational materials and regular visits as required by participants. Program Managers also provide extensive telephone support from enrolment to departure.

 

ARRANGED ACCOMMODATION, MEALS AND UTILITIES:

 

Our Lodging arrangements always have basic amenities like modern toilet facility and constant running tap water. Our host family houses are located in a safe urban residential areas and conveniently located neighbourhood.
You will be provided meals cooked and served by your host family. You will be getting 3 Meals per day (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) when ever you are at home. The meals are traditional, but very nutritious. If you're a vegetarian or have any allergies, this is taken into account when we arrange your placement. Utility bills are taken care of by the host family.

 

AIR PORT PICK UP AND DEPARTURE:

 

Dream Ghana staffs are at the airport waiting for you when you arrive at Accra International Airport. We always wait for delayed flights.  Please do not forget to send us your flight information and we guarantee your airport pickup.

ORIENTATION AND OUTREACH:

You will be provided orientation about every thing concerning Ghana. These cover Geography and climate condition of Ghana, About the local folks, Religion, Society and Customs, Entertainment, Shopping, Food, Language, Safety issues, Working projects, related topics, answering inquiries and touring important parts of Accra Township. You will be provided essential program information and printed materials.

 

 SUPPORTS AND SERVICES DREAM GHANA FOUNDATION DO NOT PROVIDE

You are responsible for arranging and paying your Air ticket, Passport, Visas, Travel Insurance, Immunizations, Personal expenses, Soft drinks, In-country travel expenses apart from the airport pick up and drop, you are responsible for internal travel expenses during your placement and shall include excursions, sightseeing tours.

 

 

 CODE AND CONDULT

Participants of Dream Ghana programs must agree to abide by the laws of Ghana and simple rules of the host family. Any of the following may result in disciplinary action or termination:

 

Use of illicit drugs, physical and violence abuse of others.
