Internship in Auditing and Accounting in Ghana.

This is a great opportunity to learn about accounting and audit work. We would prefer an undergraduate college or graduate student in accounting. The length of the internship will be discussed. We ask for at least a 1 month commitment.  This makes your internship with the organization a supportive and note worthy experience. As an audit intern you will have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and experience of what’s its like working in an audit firm in Ghana.

Responsibilities
As an intern you will develop extensive comprehension of the financial aspects of companies, including revenue processing, accounts payable, account reconciliation, financial reporting, audit preparation, development and maintenance of financial records, spreadsheets and files. Preparation of financial reports and other duties that may be assigned by chief audit.

Qualifications:
Intern must be studying business accounting or working background in business accounting, good oral and written communications skills are a must, Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word and Excel. Apply online today using our online application form.

Location of Programs: Various locations in Accra and other parts of Ghana

Arrival Airport:  Kotoka international airport, Accra (airport code ACC)

Working Hours: Flexible; Monday to Friday approximately 30 hours per week, all other times are free

Getting to the project: Dependent on location, 30 minutes to 1 hour multi-people taxi ride or commercial bus transporter (budget approximately US $10 per week)
